The ratio rationale.

A topical’s CBD:THC ratio indicates how much of each compound is in the product. So, a topical with the ratio 18:1 contains 18 parts CBD to 1 part THC, whereas, 1:1 means it contains equal parts of both.

A quick refresher on THC vs. CBD.

THC, short for tetrahydrocannabinol, is probably the most well known chemical compound in cannabis. It’s the psychoactive component that creates a euphoric high, helps ease pain, and encourages relaxation.

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a non-psychoactive compound also found in cannabis. It has many therapeutic benefits like helping to reduce inflammation and anxiety, but it won’t get you high.
