Great strain and Cookies was great for a while(despite the insultingly high prices), but they seem to have fallen off lately. Now their bud is a little cheaper but not nearly as good or reliable imo.

This is a good one. Just cause THC is low, it's Perfect for me!

I recommend this for just about anything. A little bit heavier if you want to get sleepy and couch lock and munchies. Just a little bit will get you a good day early on.

I had this strain before and I was excited to try it again from a new company which was cookies. The smell was strong and unique. I smoke daily and have been for a long time its very rare I go 24-48 hours without. So the first bowl I used of this made me have a ton of energy.& I did tasks at home that were long and tough I didnt wanna do. I notice after the first few grams my tolerance grew higher with the Gary Payton strain and it wasnt the same great effect like before. The buds were very dense and not to many hairs fell off because the buds were pretty sticky and hard... 4/5

It didn’t really meet my expectations, but I was pain free for a little while and I was able to work in my yard and focus. 

really like this strain great taste works on the pain while easing the brain definitely worth everyone trying 

All cookie strains are the same. Dense, dry, zero flavor 🤷‍♂️ 

Price a bit high; but personally, it’s my favorite hybrid strain. Nice buds. Great aroma. Recommended for those who like a good sativa but want something just a bit different.

Long ago, I was expecting to pay the usual $175/zip for some top-shelf. This particular day, the price was $250 & it was some Gary Payton. I got this because, there isn’t anyway in the world that some Gary Payton gets 1-2 stars, from a dispensary at that. 27.24% total cannabinoids & 2.24% on the terps. PKG date is 12/04/23, today is 02/10/24 for reference. Aroma is High-End/Fruity/Spicy/Hash/earth - there’s a diesel pungency that lingers throughout.  4 seedless-grape sized buds in the pack. Light-green coloration, forest-green & purple trim, neon-orange pistils & a generous blanket of trichomes. Buds are well-matured with a nice mixture of cloudy & amber trich’s. Beautiful density & moisture content - wonderfully gooey buds. Used the 2 smaller buds to roll up a spliff using classic Bambu paper & dried/crumbled tobacco leaf - this J has more than 1gram of flower. Forgot, I got this from Rise Bethesda during a 30% off special - they been cool since day 1, before recreational was even allowed in MD lol. Lit the J up at 11:40am - the lung expansion is satisfying but, it’s smooth from the slow dry & cure. Very flavorful - Pine?/Fruity(wild strawberry)/Floral with a Spicy after-note/earth/Hash - very complex & captivating, tastes Top-Shelf. Pretty instant effects - I just start to report them at the 5min mark. Mentally expansive, anti-depressant, notice of heartbeat, heightened senses/alert, mood regulation. It’s strong enough psychologically to make me have ‘noid moments - this effect is rare for me these days cause, I smoke like a chimney lol. Forgot, Ashed the J at 11:57am - Sativa-dominant with an Indica backdrop that keeps things contained. May provoke the giggles - the face tingles are love LOL. Recommended

This is probably the worst strain I have gotten from the dispensary. The bud is bald. No trichs. Horrible terps / A lack there of. Never getting another Cookies strain. Every single Garcia handpicked strain is better then this.

Makes my body feel great and gives me the giggles. The smell and taste are delicious . Price is relatively low. Cookies is doing a decent job over here in PA so far. Can’t wait to try more strains as they are released.

GDF LA looks to have finally gotten some good growing experience. Bud was very sticky, flavorful and the effects were spot on.

Man this was some premium... I smoked a fatty and was like what the f$$$? You are so high, but you don't feel high, kinda... hahah, find out for yourself. The bag(3.5g) was a few huge nugs... very impressive looking nugs, and even better smoke. It is expensive, but if you wish to get premium, I highly recommend... You will be able to unwind and relax easily.

Great color and terp profile. I would say more on the indica side although nothing screams “Indica” about the numbers. HMS - Cookies grown cannabis  is definitely preferred over SunMed.

I don’t like these mixed buds batches they are not as good as the premium bags, you know  the ones with the picture on them lol. But this was decent still a little over priced and it’s probably better options but if money is no option get it! Cookies is just a really cool brand. 

This is the absolute worst Gelato I’ve ever had. Cookies really needs to evaluate who they’re letting grow their strains out here. There’s not one good Cookies strain in MD. Rise should also label these strains as “mixed light” so people can know better than to pay indoor prices for greenhouse garbage. Shame

If you smoke and rely on Animal Face do not even think about buying this overpriced brown nug. It did not get me high at all and I did not get any effects from the product. Incredibly overpriced for absolutely nothing.

Not really happy with this batch it was more flavor in the 1.70% batch than this 1.88% batch I'm very big on flavor and this didn't line up for me......

This strain meets all my expectations.  Its strong but relaxing. I've had spinal realignment surgery and it helps with the pain.   Highly recommended 👌....

Im extremely impressed with this strain. I'm also happy with the price! Finally cookies are affordable! Gary Peyton may be one of my new favorites. It's covered with trichomes and is quite tasty! It's cured to perfection and can use anytime.

I bought some GP, as I am an Oregon State grad, and a HUGE fan of the Glove.  I didn't have many expectations, as I usually go with a higher THC.  To my surprise, Gary Payton Cookies is one of my favorite strains!  A taste similar to Dos-Si-Do, it is super mellow, a great buzz and then a burst of energy and creativity that allowed for daytime use (and enjoyment!).  Great strain, and #GoBeavs!

The smell is very skunky! Great cure breaks up nicely and offers a great high! Wish it wasn't priced quite as high but it is what it is.

Very good strain. For me Gary Payton has an uplifting euphoric stony high effect with a nice relaxed body feel. Great for when the anxiety amps up and those times that you just want to drift a little from focus and feel happy. Smooth to taste and you can expect it to kick in rather quickly. I can still get things done with it; I just wouldn't operate machinery. Gary Payton is definitely one of my favorites from the Cookies lineup. It never disappoints.

I snagged a 1g pre pack of the Gary Payton after hearing great things and being from Cookies, and paying the above premium price for it, I was greatly disappointed with it. It looked and smelled great like all Cookies strains do. But after a good session and66666 polishing off the whole g myself i should have been quite comatose like usual after a Cookies session but just was not that great really.  You could have twisted one up off the 6 to 10 $ a G shelf and been just as well off and a third if the cost as well.  Sad to say but most definitely not h  worth the triple price tag no doubt. Im sure it was just a weak batch but i will not be trying it again any time soon.

Oh Berner. Where do we even start? I used to mess with Cookies way back in 2012-2014 when Berner was just getting his stuff legal because there were no other mass cultivar farms producing "his" genetics. With that being said, the Cookies brand seems to be propped up by celebrity endorsement and just being grandfathered in as an "OG triple OG California Luxury Weed Brand". For anyone who has any ounce of knowledge will know right off the rip that their 8ths are priced strictly based on their branding alone. The flower you find inside of their zip bags (yes, no glass for their $65+ 8ths) isn't bad by any means but it isn't comparable to what other brands at the same price point are offering. Sort of amazing to me that people still buy up Cookies like its gold but that just goes to show you the power of great marketing.

The GP gary payton 1 Of my top strains i enjoy cuz of the earthy baked pie taste it has and the feeling of it is Amazing and my high lasts me hours

Havent smoked much of it yet but the 1 bowl i did was delicious, tasted like tea. The high is smooth and clean leading to a relaxing feeling with 0 anxiety. The prices are on cookies products are high but its definitely quality product

This product was great it really does ease the mind I will buy it again i will tell anyone to get this. I still have some left. GP.. 

Great genetics on this strain & quality cultivation from Mad Cow, exceptional to smoke. The effects are a beautifully clear headed euphoria w/ decent focus & solid, relatively relaxed influx of energy. Would have been 5 stars but for 2 reasons that are pretty much a constant w/ Cookies products - it's poorly packaged for the price point (Tightly vacuum packed in often poorly handled mylar bags) & there's a good deal of variance in both quality & potency between drops, with THC contents varying all the way from 18.71% to 32%, though generally averaging in the ~23-28% range. After purchasing x5 separate 8ths and x4 individual grams of indoor Gary Peyton from 3 different distributors over the course of the last 9 months I'd give it a solid 4.5 - when it's good, it's as good as mylar bag weed can be but when it's bad it's pretty disappointing for the price. What to expect: Generally the 8th comes in relatively small buds vacuum packed together into one giant nugg-if you're lucky enough to actually get a hearty cola in your bag it's probably going to be a real treat! 3/4 times the cure was pristine enough that the product was still deliciously fresh at the time of opening. The other 1/4 times you can expect a fairly dried out final product w/ significantly depleted terpene profile- this seemed to be almost entirely dependent on 2 things worth keeping an eye out for: the first being simply that the subpar bags were all months old & secondly that the dried out, poorly cured bags I purchased were all from their lower-THC testing drops. Conversely, every drop I purchased that tested over 24% THC was pretty darn good in terms of general bag appeal.  After opening the bag & delicately separating the compressed buds I highly recommend transferring them over to an air tight glass jar w/ a reusable foam seal & beveda humidity pack for long term storage- in my experience this SIGNIFICANTLY improved the quality of my smoke overtime.  Overall, if you grab the right drop &  put in a little work to spruce it up the Gary Peyton from Cookies does have the potential to be some of the best weed in the world right now. I can only imagen if they packaged it nicely right from the start! -Parker Baker
