No. Recreational cannabis is legal in California, which means you do not need a prescription, doctors recommendation or medical card to visit us.
There are two types of medical card –
Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC)
A state-issued Medical Marijuana Identification Card (or “MMIC”) allows you to possess, grow, and transport marijuana within the state and purchase up to eight ounces of cannabis product per day.
Medical Marijuana Recommendation
A medical recommendation is from a doctor for the medicinal use of cannabis for adults 18 years or older. Medical marijuana holders are legally entitled to purchase up to eight ounces of cannabis product per day.
So what’s the difference?
MMICs are backed by the state, which means MMIC holders don’t have to pay the 7.5% state tax on cannabis purchases.
In California, you can purchase up to 28.5 grams of flower or 8 grams of concentrate per day. Limits are higher with a medical card.
No, it is illegal to consume cannabis products on the premises of a dispensary in California or nearby.
We can exchange defective products within 30 days with a receipt. Please contact the store you purchased the item from to arrange a return.
